Intelli-Site requires an SQL database. If it does not detect a compatible database when installing, it will install MS SQL Express 2008 R2 SP1.
Attention - Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 installations must upgrade to SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2!
Microsoft has found a bug that may cause the database to be corrupted. The fix for this bug is part of SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2. It is also included in SP3. While no installation has encountered this issue that we know of, we feel it is imperative that all customers update their version of SQL to prevent any possible data corruption.

Future versions of Intelli-Site will install MS SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3. It will not upgrade the existing database but notify if the detected database does not have the desired service pack.
